NFL Insider on Odell Beckham Jr. Rumors: 'Keep an Eye on' Jets Contract for WR
NFL fans should "keep an eye" on free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. as a target for the New York Jets, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini.
The three-time Pro Bowler was linked with the Jets last offseason before signing with the Baltimore Ravens. He said on the Punch Line Podcast in January he was of the mind at one point they were his preferred destination.

A partnership with Beckham is once again plausible, but the enthusiasm surrounding a deal will be lower than it was compared to last year.
The 31-year-old caught 35 passes for 565 yards and three touchdowns in 14 appearances with Baltimore. Coming off another major ACL injury, the concerns around his value proved to be well founded as he was a solid secondary target for quarterback Lamar Jackson but not the game-changing wideout he was during his prime.
Cimini reported the Cincinnati Bengals' Tee Higgins and San Francisco 49ers' Brandon Aiyuk are both prospective trade targets for the Jets, though both might be long shots. They don't necessarily need to go that big in order to augment the aerial attack.
Garrett Wilson is coming off his second straight 1,000-yard receiving campaign, and the 2022 first-round pick has all of the tools to be the anchor of New York's passing game.
From that perspective, taking a flier on Beckham wouldn't be a bad gamble. Fans will just be much more realistic about the version of OBJ they're getting this time around.
