Tyson, 57, is 50-6 in his career with 44 wins coming via knockout. He hasn't competed in a non-exhibition match since a loss to Kevin McBride in 2005.
The former heavyweight champion was last in action in an eight-round exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr. in July 2020 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, which resulted in a draw.
Paul, a YouTuber-turned-boxer, is 9-1 in his career with six knockouts. His lone loss came to Tommy Fury in February 2023.
The 27-year-old has defeated the likes of Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz and Andre August. He was last in action on March 2 in a TKO win over Ryan Bourland.
If Tyson is able to turn back the clock and definitively take down Paul this summer, it'll be one of the most talked about fights of the year.
