SEC Tournament 2024: Men's Quarterfinals Scores, Updated Bracket, Semifinal Schedule
The SEC tournament has belonged to the underdogs.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs, Texas A&M Aggies and Florida Gators all pulled off upsets in Friday's quarterfinals.
The run of surprising results left the Auburn Tigers as the only top-four seed left playing on semifinal Saturday in Nashville.
Auburn is the clear favorite to win the event now if you go off seeding, but the unpredictability displayed on Friday proved any results are possible.

Mississippi State vs. Auburn
2 of 3
Auburn is the only top-four seed left in Nashville.
That is a stunning statement given how impressive Tennessee, Kentucky and Alabama looked throughout the regular season.
The Tigers had an easy Friday afternoon against a South Carolina Gamecocks team that they blew out twice this season.
Bruce Pearl's team is on a four-game winning streak that began with a 15-point win over Mississippi State.
However, the Bulldogs beat Auburn in Starkville and turned in their best performance of the season on Friday to down Tennessee.
Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller predicted that Mississippi State is a lock in the field of 68 after its Friday win.
The Bulldogs have the advantage of coming off a fantastic showing, but Saturday will be their third high-stress game in three days.
Auburn will be the fresher team since its lone game in Nashville was a blowout and that could play to its advantage.
Texas A&M vs. Florida
3 of 3
Texas A&M and Florida each eclipsed the 90-point mark to defeat the Nos. 2 and 3 seeds on Friday.
Miller projected that A&M should be safe in the field of 68 with its win over Kentucky, so it should play with a little less stress against Florida.
Buzz Williams led the Aggies to the last two SEC tournament finals, so he knows how to get the best out of his team on short rest.
Florida was safely into the field of 68 before the SEC tournament. The Gators proved why they could be a threat in the NCAA tournament with their high-scoring attack against Alabama.
The Gators love to push the pace and will try to dictate the tempo against A&M.
While A&M may not be the fastest tempo team, it proved in its win over Kentucky that it can score at a high clip and push the pace when necessary.
