B/R AM: Rick Pitino Is Back

St. John's beat Seton Hall yesterday to advance to the Big East semifinals for the first time since 2000.

Bigger story: Rick Pitino is inevitable.

Reminder: On Feb. 18, Pitino went on *all-time rant* after a loss that dropped St. John's to 14-12.

• He called his team 'unathletic' and 'slow' and said this was 'the most unenjoyable experience of my lifetime,' then insisted he wasn't 'ripping anybody'   

What he's done since: Won six straight games, pulled off one all-white suit.

The Johnnies are now projected to go dancing, which would be Pitino's record sixth different tourney team.

• In the meantime, they play No. 1 UConn in the Big East semis today as __-point dogs. Don't count Pitino out.

Last night's Pittsburgh Penguins game was supposed to be Jaromír Jágr Bobblehead Night. The problem: The team was reportedly a victim of 'cargo theft.' In other words, someone stole a large quantity of Jaromír Jágr bobbleheads.
