Video: Mike Tyson Shows Off Training Session Ahead of Jake Paul Boxing Fight
Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson posted highlights of his first day of training in preparation for his July 20 fight against Jake Paul:
Tyson, who will be 58 years old when the fight occurs, won 50 of his 58 professional matches, including his first 37 bouts. He was a heavyweight champion for nearly 39 months (Nov. 22, 1986-Feb. 11, 1990), successfully retaining his titles nine times.

Paul, 27, is 9-1 with six knockouts in his professional career. His only loss was a split decision to Tommy Fury in Feb. 2023.
Obviously, the 31-year age gap is worth noting. Tyson was once the baddest man on the planet, but he's also two decades removed from the end of his professional career. He's also a few years removed from being 60, naturally bringing about concerns regarding his fitness against the much younger Paul.
On the flip side, Tyson is looking pretty spry in his first training video, and former UFC champion Chuck Liddell backs the boxer if he connects.
"As soon as Tyson hits him, it's over," Liddell told TMZ. "The last thing to go is power. If he hits him, it's over. If you've seen Mike, he still hits."
The rules for the contest have yet to be decided. Ariel Helwani of the MMA Hour provided some insight, however (h/t George Glinski of talkSPORT).
"They're still working on a few important details based on the conversations I've had," Helwani said. "Is it pro or is it an exhibition? They want pro, but that's up to the Texas commission, we'll have to wait and see. Weight? I'm told heavyweight. Rounds? I'm working on that as well."
Regardless of the rules, this is sure to be a highly anticipated bout, which will take place at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.
