
Steelers' Russell Wilson to Get Revenge Game vs. Broncos in Denver in 2024 NFL Season
Veteran quarterback Russell Wilson will be making at least one trip to the Mile High City after agreeing to a deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Denver Broncos are among the nine road opponents for the Steelers in 2024. The NFL has yet to finalize the regular-season schedule, so it's unclear when Denver and Pittsburgh will face off.
Wilson broadly isn't lacking in motivation given the way he was unceremoniously dumped by the Broncos. They benched him toward the latter stages of the 2023 season and then preferred to absorb a record-setting $85 million dead money hit to jettison him altogether rather than keep him under contract.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the nine-time Pro Bowler is getting the veteran's minimum ($1.2 million) from Pittsburgh, with Denver covering the remainder of the $39 million owed to the quarterback in 2024.
Wilson's return to Denver is bound to be a game neutral fans circle on the calendar when the 2024 schedule is revealed.
Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio speculated Steelers vs. Broncos could get prime-time treatment and perhaps a Week 1 slot. The NFL staged Wilson's first game back in the Pacific Northwest on Monday Night Football during the opening week in 2022.
