NFL Rumors: Bobby Wagner Unlikely to Sign New Seahawks Contract, Expected to Test FA
Bobby Wagner is a Seattle Seahawks legend, but he reportedly likely won't be coming back to the NFC West team in 2024.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, "Wagner is expected to test the market, and it's currently viewed as unlikely that he returns to the Seahawks."
The linebacker played the 2022 campaign with the Los Angeles Rams, but he signed a one-year deal with the Seahawks for the 2023 one.

He certainly delivered ahead of free agency.
Wagner finished last season with a league-best 183 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, three passes defended and one fumble recovery. While he was 33 years old, he still showed an ability to stuff the run, move laterally from sideline-to-sideline and even rush the passer as a veteran.
He entered the league as a second-round draft pick of the Seahawks in 2012 and played his first 10 years with the franchise. Seattle went to two Super Bowls during that span and won the Lombardi Trophy during the 2013 campaign.
Wagner finished with 10 tackles in the blowout 43-8 victory over the Denver Broncos.
The future Hall of Famer has a resume that features that Super Bowl title, nine Pro Bowl selections and six First-Team All-Pro nods. He added to it with another excellent season in 2023 and will look to cash in on free agency.
Unfortunately for Seahawks fans, he may be doing so with another team.
