Iowa's Caitlin Clark Recreates Iconic Kobe Bryant Photo After Big 10 Tournament Title

Iowa guard Caitlin Clark, the highest scoring player in college basketball history, emulated Kobe Bryant Saturday after the leading the Hawkeyes to the team's third straight Big Ten championship.

Clark, who led Iowa with 34 points in the 94-89 win over Nebraska, posed with the Big Ten trophy with one hand over her eyes.

Clark was wearing shoes from Bryant's signature Nike line March 3 as she scored her 3,668th point to pass former LSU star Pete Maravich on the all-time list of leading NCAA scorers.

Vanessa Bryant then shared an Instagram story congratulating Clark on the historic accomplishment.

Clark continued making college basketball history Saturday during the Hawkeyes' championship win. She was named the Big Ten Tournament MVP, making her the first player since 1995 to win the title three times in a row.

It won't be long until Clark, like Bryant, is establishing herself as a star in the pros. The four-year Iowa star has said she is forgoing her fifth year of college eligibility in order to declare for the 2024 WNBA Draft.
