Duke, Kyle Filipowski Slammed by CBB Fans for Lifeless Performance vs. UNC
It was a tough year for Duke fans in terms of the legendary rivalry with North Carolina.
The Blue Devils had a chance to avenge a loss from February, with this game coming on its own court. Unfortunately for Duke, North Carolina was able to suppress a late charge and emerge with a 84-79 victory.

The final score was not necessarily indicative of how the game went, as the Tar Heels led by nine points at halftime and held that much of a lead deep into the final quarter. The win solidified an ACC regular season championship for North Carolina.
One notable moment came when Kyle Filipowski appeared to intentionally trip Harrison Ingram, which had many comparing him to Grayson Allen and other pests from the programs past.
Filipowski led the Blue Devils with 23 points, while the Tar Heels were led by Cormac Ryan's 31 points.
Fans on social media called out the Blue Devils for the performance and predicted that the team has the potential to flame out in the postseason.
Duke finishes the season 24-7 and 15-5 within the ACC. This was good for second in the conference, behind the Tar Heels, and both teams could be destined for another clash in the Conference Championship.
