NFL Rumors: Russell Wilson Linked to Raiders amid Steelers, Giants Free Agency Buzz
Russell Wilson may no longer be the dominant player he was at his peak with the Seattle Seahawks, but he is reportedly generating plenty of interest after the Denver Broncos released him.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported he is visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday after he talked with the New York Giants during "an exploratory meeting" on Thursday. What's more, he could meet with the Las Vegas Raiders as the offseason continues.
Pittsburgh would make sense as a potential destination.

Coach Questions Beck's Personality 🤔
The AFC North team is in the middle of a winning window after reaching the playoffs last season with a 10-7 record. That it made the postseason even with less than stellar quarterback play with Kenny Pickett, Mason Rudolph and Mitch Trubisky underscores the overall talent on the roster.
George Pickens is a game-changing wide receiver, Najee Harris is a solid running back and the defense has T.J. Watt and other impact players.
Even if Wilson is no longer the version of himself who was a nine-time Pro Bowler with Seattle, he could elevate the overall ceiling from an early playoff exit to a deeper run with even decent play.
The Giants could also use some of that improved play with Tyrod Taylor set to become a free agent and Daniel Jones coming back from a torn ACL. Jones isn't exactly Patrick Mahomes under center even when healthy, and ESPN noted New York could get out of his four-year, $160 million deal following the upcoming campaign with a $22.2 million dead cap hit for 2025.
Las Vegas also figures to be involved in quarterback discussions this offseason considering Aidan O'Connell isn't a franchise cornerstone. Schefter also reported in February the team is expected to release Jimmy Garoppolo.
The thing that may be enticing about Wilson is he could come relatively cheap after going just 11-19 as a starter in two disappointing seasons in Denver.
It's not every day teams can add someone with his resume at a relatively inexpensive price, even if there are plenty of question marks at this stage of his career. Multiple teams are at least interested in him at this point, so he should eventually find a landing spot.
