In a battle between All-Star point guards, Stephen Curry emerged victorious.

Curry helped lead the Golden State Warriors to a 110-99 win over Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks on Thursday night. The two-time MVP scored 31 points to go along with a season-high 11 rebounds, grabbing eight boards in the first quarter alone.

He connected on eight of his 18 three-point attempts, remaining efficient from behind the arc despite shooting just 11-26 overall.

Jonathan Kuminga stepped up admirably, dropping 25 points and securing eight rebounds while shooting 63.2 percent from the field. He was also locked in defensively, recording two steals and two blocks.

NBA fans and analysts alike were impressed with the performances from Curry and Kuminga.

It was a wire-to-wire win for the Warriors, who jumped out to an early 14-0 lead and didn't look back. The Knicks cut the deficit to single digits multiple times in the second half, although they were ultimately unable to close the gap.

Brunson finished the game with 27 points to go along with five rebounds and five assists, although the rest of New York's rotation struggled as the absences of OG Anunoby and Julius Randle were evident.

The Knicks fell to 35-25, while the Warriors moved to 31-27.
