NFL Draft 2024 Rumors: LSU's Jayden Daniels 'Impressive' in Meetings at Combine
LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels has "been impressive" in team meetings during this week's NFL Scouting Combine, per The Athletic's Jeff Howe.
Daniels, the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner, already had the eye of plenty of NFL teams, but an impressive showing at the combine could solidify his spot as one of the top quarterbacks in the draft.
Last season, Daniels notched 3,812 passing yards, 40 touchdowns and just four interceptions. He was also one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in college football, picking up 1,134 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
According to Bleacher Report's 2024 NFL Draft Big Board, Daniels is considered to be the No. 24 player and the No. 3 quarterback, just behind USC's Caleb Williams and North Carolina's Drake Maye.
In Bleacher Report's 2024 NFL Mock Draft, Daniels is projected to be off the board early, landing with the New England Patriots at No. 3. With trade rumors surrounding current quarterback Mac Jones, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Daniels landing in New England. The Washington Commanders also need a quarterback and hold the No. 2 pick.
While it seems certain Williams will be the top quarterback off the board, Daniels' impressive showing at the combine could help him move ahead of Maye as the No. 2 QB prospect.
