Mahomes clocked a 4.80 40-yard dash when he was coming out of Texas Tech seven years ago. Florida State defensive tackle Braden Fiske beat him out by 0.02 seconds, but he can take some solace in Texas defensive tackle T'Vondre Sweat coming in at a 5.27.

Despite his lack of speed, Mahomes is one of the best quarterbacks at using his legs to make plays. He had some key rushes that helped the Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.
