NFL Draft 2024 Rumors: Alabama's Terrion Arnold Drawing Positive Reviews at Combine

Adam WellsFeb 29, 2024

Already regarded as one of the top cornerback prospects in the 2024 NFL draft, Alabama's Terrion Arnold is making a strong impression on teams at the scouting combine.

Per NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah, Arnold has left teams very high on his "big energy" and love for football when they have talked with him.

Arnold had a dramatic turn of fortune at Alabama. He was benched at one point during the 2022 season as a redshirt freshman, something he says still motivates him daily.

B/R's NFL scouting department has Arnold ranked as the No. 1 cornerback and 10th-best prospect in this year's class. He's projected to go No. 13 overall to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Another team that could end up being connected to Arnold throughout the process is the Philadelphia Eagles.

The 20-year-old was named a first-team All-American during the 2023 season. He recorded 12 pass breakups and five interceptions in 14 games to help Alabama win the SEC and make it into the College Football Playoff.

Arnold took advantage of his increased stock to declare for the 2024 draft. He's likely going to hear his name called early in the first round.

The last time a Crimson Tide cornerback was selected in the first round was Patrick Surtain II in 2021 (No. 9 to the Denver Broncos). He's been named to the Pro Bowl twice and All-Pro first team once in his first three seasons.
