Tyreek Hill Calls Out Jake Paul; Dolphins WR Eyes Boxing or UFC Fight
Tyreek Hill has already proved himself as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, but the Miami Dolphins star now has big plans off the field.
In an interview with Bob Menery on the Fully Tilted podcast (h/t FinsXtra), Hill expressed his interest in meeting with UFC CEO Dana White about a career in fighting—either in the cage or boxing.
"Just take it to the cage, bro," Hill said. "That's why I want to meet Dana White, I want to get in the cage. I want to get in the cage or I want to box."
He has an opponent in mind for his first fight should he get in the ring. Hill wants to fight another boxer who is relatively new to the sport, Jake Paul. He even called out Paul, saying that he doesn't think he's that tough.
"I think my first fight needs to be like Jake Paul or something like that," Hill said.
The eight-year player has never boxed professionally, but he claims that he grew up boxing, so fighting could be in his future.
Fighting Paul wouldn't be an easy task, though, as the YouTuber-turned-fighter has had a strong start to his career. Since his first fight in 2020, Paul has posted an 8-1 record, notching five knockouts. His only loss came last February against Tommy Fury in a split decision.
For now, Hill will focus on having another big season on the field with the Dolphins.
