The Yankees selected the 6'6" Jones, a former Vanderbilt star, with the No. 25 overall pick in the 2022 MLB draft. He amassed 16 home runs, 66 RBI and 43 stolen bases in 117 games combined last year for Single-A Hudson Valley and Double-A Somerset.

FanGraphs projects him to have "well above average" power at the MLB level someday, grading him as a 70 out of 80 on that scale.

"A former two-way player, here Jones is projected to develop in center field and shorten up his swing to get to his enormous power," FanGraphs wrote. "He might also be a top five prospect a year from now."

Jones, who ranks as MLB.com's No. 84 overall prospect, is projected to arrive to the bigs in 2025.
