Cejudo previously said he would "100 percent" retire with a loss, but he's apparently changed plans.

Cejudo has announced his retirement before, doing so after beating Dominick Cruz via second-round TKO to defend his UFC bantamweight title in May 2020.

Three years later, Cejudo returned to the Octagon to try to reclaim his old belt against Aljamain Sterling. He lost via split decision.

Cejudo's loss to Dvalishvili marked just the fourth MMA defeat of his professional career in 20 matches.
