Kevin Durant: Damian Lillard Had Kawhi Leonard and I in Awe at NBA All-Star Game 2024

Damian Lillard's All-Star MVP performance even left his fellow All-Stars in awe.

Kevin Durant admitted he and Kawhi Leonard were wowed by Lillard's shooting exhibition in the Eastern Conference's 211-186 win over the Western Conference on Sunday.

Lillard finished with 39 points and six assists on his way to winning MVP honors, and he spent much of the game pulling up from nearly halfcourt to rack up his points.

The MVP ended a stellar weekend for Lillard, who also came away with his second straight Three-Point Contest championship. He joined Michael Jordan as the second player in history to win a skill competition Saturday night and then the All-Star MVP the next day.

Scoring was at never-before-seen levels between the two teams as a result of a series of increasingly audacious three-point attempts. Ninety-seven of the East's 146 shots came from long range.

The Western Conference was led by Karl-Anthony Towns, who became the fourth player in NBA history to score 50 points in an All-Star Game.
