CM Punk won't be competing at WrestleMania 40, but he certainly plans on needling the participants despite his torn triceps keeping him on the sideline.

Punk, who appeared as an analyst for the WrestleMania kickoff press conference earlier this month, said he plans to keep smack-talking — and going at The Rock in particular.

"I think it's fantastic. Ten years ago, I was the guy that was wrestling The Rock when he came back, and now ten years later, he's coming back, and I think the landscape has completely changed, right?" Punk told TNT Sports of The Rock's return. "WrestleMania is two nights now, it's even bigger. Him coming back only helps. I always say high tide raises all ships. So I'm just happy that even though I'm hurt, I'm still gonna kinda be in the mix."

"My mouth still works, so I'm gonna still be able to talk some trash. I don't know if you saw the kickoff we did in Vegas with Rock and Roman and Seth and Cody. It was a lot of fun and I hope to just continue to do that while I'm recuperating because I can always just talk trash with the best of you. we love that part of it as well. It's the best part. It's what I do."

The Rock was originally slated to go one-on-one against Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 40, but that has since been changed to Cody Rhodes vs. Reigns. It's unclear if that change was made due to the overwhelming fan clamoring for Rhodes to "finish his story" or if this was the plan all along, but it's made for a marvelous pivot.

The Rock officially joined Reigns' Bloodline stable Friday night on SmackDown and vowed to help his cousin overcome the crowd favorite Rhodes. It's unclear whether Rock will wind up actually participating in a match. There has been some speculation of a Rhodes-Seth Rollins vs. Rock-Reigns tag team match for Night 1 of WrestleMania, but nothing has been confirmed or even hinted at on television. Some have also wondered whether Rock will wind up making it a triple threat between himself, Reigns and Rhodes.

Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso Reportedly Set for WrestleMania 40

One member of the Bloodline does appear to have his match set in stone. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select said the current "plan" was for Jimmy Uso to take on Jey Uso in a battle of brothers in the City of Brotherly Love.

The brothers have gone at one another since Jimmy betrayed Jey at last year's SummerSlam event. However, they've largely been separated on television as Jey went over to Raw and Jimmy stuck around on SmackDown to rejoin the Bloodline.

Jey Uso has largely been kept away from Bloodline storylines as he separates himself as a singles competitor, but there's a reason the brothers haven't had a one-on-one match yet. It's being saved for the grandest stage in professional wrestling.

While most people called WrestleMania 39 being the "downfall" of the Bloodline, it appears that was only the beginning. It's looking more likely Philadelphia will see things fall apart once and for all.

LA Knight vs. Logan Paul Reportedly Possible for WrestleMania

Logan Paul qualified for the Elimination Chamber match next weekend, but he does not appear likely to win at this juncture.

Instead, Paul seems slotted in to defend his United States championship against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported one plan saw Paul taking on LA Knight, though plans may have since changed. Knight was red hot for most of last summer and fall before he's gone through a bit of a cooling period over the winter, though he remains one of the most over babyfaces in the company.

It's likely Paul's next feud will be set up in the Chamber match. Knight and Kevin Owens stand out as the most logical opponents, though Randy Orton doesn't have anything obvious to do at WrestleMania at the moment.

If WWE wants to put on the biggest show, Orton taking on Paul would be a dream come true for the YouTuber-turned-wrestler.
