
Micah Parsons Wins 2024 NBA Celebrity Game MVP, Team Shannon Beats Team Stephen A.
Dallas Cowboys star pass-rusher Micah Parsons showed that he can make plays both on the court and on the field as he was named the MVP of the 2024 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday night.
Parsons led Team Shannon to a 100-91 win over Team Stephen A. in Indianapolis, dropping 37 points and 16 rebounds which included 19 points in the second half alone. At 6'3" and 245 pounds, the former Defensive Rookie of the Year was a force in the paint all night long as he threw down multiple thunderous dunks.

Los Angeles Rams Pro Bowl wide receiver Puka Nacua also showed off his impressive athleticism, exciting the crowd with several dunks on the way to 16 points of his own for Team Shannon.
The game also featured the debut of the NBA's LED full-video court, which led to several creative moments such as a moving three-point line in the fourth quarter and highlights throughout the contest being displayed on the floor.
The two teams were led by ESPN analysts Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe. Assistant coaches for Team Stephen A. were rapper Lil Wayne and two-time WNBA MVP A'ja Wilson, while rapper 50 Cent was an assistant coach for Team Shannon.
Parsons is the second consecutive NFL player to win the MVP award in the All-Star Celebrity Game after Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf earned the honor in 2023.
