Chiefs' Travis Kelce Producing Film 'My Dead Friend Zoe' Starring Morgan Freeman
The year of Travis Kelce continues.
Tatiana Siegel of Variety reported the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is one of the investors in a "low-budget dark comedy" movie titled My Dead Friend Zoe. The movie stars Natalie Morales, Ed Harris, Morgan Freeman and Sonequa Martin-Green and will be Kelce's entrance into the movie world.
The movie cost less than $10 million and was financed by the sale of surplus tax credits from green energy entrepreneur Mike Field, who is also a producer on the film. That makes this the first movie to capitalize on President Joe Biden's Inflation Reduction Act as a source of funding.

This comes as Kelce has become even more of a household name by dating international music star Taylor Swift.
In terms of football, he helped lead the Chiefs to their third Super Bowl title in five years with a 25-22 overtime victory over the San Francisco 49ers. He led both teams with nine receptions for 93 yards.
However, it was teammate Mecole Hardman who caught the game-winning touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes in overtime.
