NBA Celebrity All-Star Game 2024 Rosters, Start Time, TV Info and More
The stars will be out this weekend in Indianapolis, where this year's NBA All-Star events will be taking place. Some celebrities will even get onto the hardwood and participate in a bit of the basketball action themselves.
The 2024 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game is set for Friday night at Lucas Oil Stadium, which will host the first events of the annual All-Star festivities. The celebrity game has been an annual part of NBA All-Star Weekend since 2003.
This year, each team will be led by an ESPN analyst. Stephen A. Smith will be a coach for one team, while Shannon Sharpe will be leading the opposition.

Only one member of Team Shannon is a former NBA All-Star Celebrity Game participant: rapper Anuel AA, who played in the event in 2022 in Cleveland.
However, Micah Parsons could be the top player to watch on Team Shannon.
A three-year NFL veteran, the 24-year-old has become one of the best defensive players in football in recent years. But the Penn State product has basketball experience, having played at the varsity level for Harrisburg (Penn.) High School.
Jewell Loyd should also be one of the team's standouts. The 30-year-old is a five-time WNBA All-Star who averaged a career-high 24.7 points per game during the 2023 season. She has spent her entire nine-year WNBA career with the Seattle Storm.
It makes sense that Conor Daly is participating in this game for the first time in Indianapolis. The 32-year-old is a native of Noblesville, Indiana, who has competed in 108 IndyCar Series races. He finished eighth in the 2023 Indianapolis 500 and sixth in the 2022 edition of the event.

Like Team Shannon, Team Stephen A. also has only one player with previous NBA All-Star Celebrity Game experience. Gianmarco Tamberi, an Italian Olympic champion, played in the 2022 edition of the event in Cleveland.
The only participant with NBA experience is Metta World Peace (formerly known as Ron Artest). The 44-year-old played 17 seasons in the league from 1999-2017, earning one All-Star selection and winning the NBA title with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2010.
He spent five seasons in Indiana, experiencing his best season in the 2003-04 campaign, when he notched his lone All-Star nod and won NBA Defensive Player of the Year.
It should be fun to watch C.J. Stroud, fresh off an impressive first season in the NFL. The 22-year-old quarterback was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and earned a selection to the Pro Bowl.
Natasha Cloud, a 31-year-old former WNBA champion, is coming off her best season in the league. She averaged a career-high 12.7 points per game for the Washington Mystics during the 2023 campaign.
Tristan Jass and Jack Ryan could be players to watch for Team Stephen A. They both have showcased their basketball skills online and could make some highlight-reel plays on the All-Star stage.
