49ers' Jauan Jennings Matches Nick Foles Feat with Super Bowl 58 TDs vs. Chiefs
Jauan Jennings took full advantage of his chance to play on the national stage the Super Bowl provides.
As ESPN's Field Yates noted, the San Francisco 49ers wide receiver joined former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles as the only players in Super Bowl history to throw and catch a touchdown in the same game.
The first touchdown of the contest came on a trick play that saw Jennings throw to Christian McCaffrey, and the 49ers' second one came in the fourth quarter with the team trailing. He hauled in a Brock Purdy pass to give San Francisco the lead in the back-and-forth affair.

Foles won the Super Bowl over Tom Brady and the New England Patriots and took home the game's MVP. Jennings put himself on the short list of contenders to win the MVP in this year's matchup, although that would require winning the game like Foles' team did.
But regardless of how the rest of the game plays out, Jennings certainly became more of a household name for his showing in the Super Bowl.
