Two football fans thought it would be fun to run onto the field at Allegiant Stadium during Sunday's Super Bowl 58 matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.

With the Chiefs down 10-3 to the 49ers and facing a 3rd-and-8 at the San Francisco 41 in the third quarter, two shirtless fans ran onto the field and were quickly apprehended by Allegiant Stadium security.

Mahomes ended up completing a pass to Mecole Hardman for two yards to bring the ball up to the San Francisco 39-yard line, and officials ruled that the play counted as the fans weren't close to the action.

The two fans were escorted out of Allegiant Stadium after the incident.

Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker capped off the drive with a Super Bowl-record 57-yard field goal to cut San Francisco's lead to 10-6.

Kansas City is looking to become the first team since the New England Patriots to win back-to-back Super Bowls, and San Francisco is hoping to win its first title since 1995.
