Video: Streakers Interrupt Super Bowl 58 During Chiefs Play vs. 49ers in 2nd Half
Two football fans thought it would be fun to run onto the field at Allegiant Stadium during Sunday's Super Bowl 58 matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.
With the Chiefs down 10-3 to the 49ers and facing a 3rd-and-8 at the San Francisco 41 in the third quarter, two shirtless fans ran onto the field and were quickly apprehended by Allegiant Stadium security.
Mahomes ended up completing a pass to Mecole Hardman for two yards to bring the ball up to the San Francisco 39-yard line, and officials ruled that the play counted as the fans weren't close to the action.
