Super Bowl 59 Odds: 49ers, Chiefs Open as Favorites to Win 2024-25 NFL Title
With the Kansas City Chiefs taking down the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in Super Bowl 58, it's time to take an early look at the favorites to face off in next year's Super Bowl in New Orleans.
The 49ers are the early favorite to avenge their heartbreaking overtime loss, opening at +550 odds (bet $100 to win $550) to win it all in 2025, according to DraftKings Sportsbook.

San Francisco could certainly make it back to the title game with a strong offense led by Christian McCaffrey, Brock Purdy, George Kittle and Deebo Samuel.
The Chiefs opened at +650, the second-best odds to win Super Bowl 59, which is impressive considering the fact that no NFL team has ever hoisted the Lombardi Trophy in three consecutive seasons. The AFC's other top organizations followed shortly after, as the Baltimore Ravens at +900 and the Buffalo Bills at +950 owned the third- and fourth-best odds after Kansas City, respectively.
The Ravens finished the regular season with the best record in the NFL at 13-4. They advanced to the AFC Championship Game before falling to the Chiefs 17-10.
It isn't difficult to imagine Baltimore advancing to the Super Bowl with two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson, although it'll be intriguing to see how the team's imposing defense looks following the loss of defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald to the Seattle Seahawks.
The Detroit Lions' odds of +1200 represented the second-highest mark in the NFC, after the team blew a 24-7 halftime lead to the 49ers in the conference championship game. At identical +1200 odds, the Cincinnati Bengals will attempt to return to the Super Bowl after making it during the 2021-22 season.
The team with the longest odds is the Carolina Panthers at +25,000 following a disheartening 2-15 record in 2023.
