Video: Kevin Durant Hails Warriors' Steph Curry as 'Top 5 Ever' and 'Greatest' NBA PG

Stephen Curry added another game-winning shot to his legacy Saturday night, hitting a wild turn-around shot with 0.7 seconds left to give the Golden State Warriors a 113-112 win over the Phoenix Suns.

After the game, Kevin Durant heaped praise on Curry, calling him the greatest point guard in NBA history.

"All-time great, the greatest ever at his position, top five ever. You give him a look like that for game, he's licking his chops," Durant told reporters.

The GOAT point guard debate has been hot in NBA circles, with some backing Curry and others giving the nod to Magic Johnson.

Curry called himself the greatest of all time in a conversation with Gilbert Arenas last summer. Johnson responded in the fall, also giving the nod to himself.

"OK, so, if he got more than five championships, if he got more than three Finals MVPs, and three league MVPs, then he's the greatest," Johnson said in September. "If he got more than No. 1 in assists all time in the Finals, No. 2 in double-doubles [in the playoffs and Finals], No. 1 in triple-doubles all time in the NBA playoffs, No. 4 in steals all time in the playoffs, if he got more than those numbers, then he's the best."

It's hard to argue with either Curry or Johnson seeing themselves as the best. Curry revolutionized basketball more than any player since Michael Jordan, with the NBA now being a game of finesse centered on three-point shots.

Johnson was the face of the Showtime Lakers and proved big point guards could handle the workload of being a primary ball handler. LeBron James has cited Johnson as his biggest influence as a player.

Suffice it to say it's hard to go wrong with either choice.
