Video: Steph Curry Rips Suns' Nurkić's 'Idiotic' Remarks on Warriors' Draymond Green

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry fired back at Jusuf Nurkić after the Phoenix Suns big man showed there's no love lost toward Draymond Green.

Curry told reporters that Nurkić made some "idiotic" comments after Golden State's 113-112 victory Saturday night, and he believes Green owns the mental edge on the veteran center.

This was the first time the teams faced off since Green struck Nurkić on the court in December, which drew a lengthy suspension. While tensions didn't rise to that level again, it was clear some bad blood remains.

Nurkić didn't mince words in the locker room once the contest concluded. He contended Green "didn't learn anything" and "doesn't deserve a chance."

Those were the comments to which Curry was referencing in his postgame presser. He went on to praise Green's contributions.

"I know everybody's going to talk about what Nurkić said or how idiotic that was, but just the fact that Draymond knows how to walk the line that he needs to walk, this is probably the best game we've seen it where he can be loud, fiery and competitive and jaw back and forth but we're playing basketball," the two-time MVP said. "If you didn't see that tonight you're not watching the game."

Green had 15 points, seven rebounds and nine assists in 30 minutes on the floor. He also played a role in Kevin Durant scoring 24 points but shooting just 10-of-25 from the field.

The season series between Golden State and Phoenix is over, which might come as a disappointment to neutral fans given this appears to be a budding rivalry. With any luck, the Warriors and Suns will cross paths in the postseason.
