Video: WWE Icon Stone Cold Steve Austin Rocks a Mullet in NFL Super Bowl Commercial

WWE legend "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is featured in a commercial that will air Sunday during Super Bowl LVIII between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.

Kawasaki posted video of the commercial, which is for its off-road vehicle called the Ridge, on YouTube during the lead up to the big game:

In the commercial, two guys ride through the wilderness in a Ridge, and any living being that comes into contact with the vehicle grows a mullet.

That includes Austin and his dog, who both sprout luscious heads of hair once the Kawasaki Ridge drives past them.

Austin, who is a WWE Hall of Famer, has long been known for his signature look, which includes a bald head. While Austin had long, blonde hair earlier in his wrestling career, the Kawasaki commercial showed Stone Cold in a new light.

As an active competitor in WWE from 1995 to 2003, Austin established himself as arguably the biggest star in the history of the pro wrestling business, winning the WWE Championship on six occasions.

After losing to The Rock at WrestleMania 19 in 2003, Austin retired from in-ring competition due to multiple injuries.

Austin remained retired for 19 years until he made his in-ring return at WrestleMania 38 in 2022, beating Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred match on Night 1 of that event.

The Texas Rattlesnake was just as popular as ever with WWE fans despite being retired for nearly two decades, and his inclusion in a Super Bowl commercial suggests that he is a pop culture icon who is still relevant today.
