Dave Canales Responds to Panthers Getting Trolled in Taylor Swift Joke at NFL Honors
Dave Canales won't forget Keegan-Michael Key's swipe at the Carolina Panthers while hosting the 2024 NFL Honors in Las Vegas on Thursday night.
In the comedian's opening monologue, he made sure to reference Taylor Swift, whose presence at Super Bowl 58 to support Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs figures to be a big storyline, while also trolling the Panthers for an abysmal 2023 season that saw them finish 2-15.
"My understanding is that Taylor Swift is in Tokyo right now," Key said. "The only people farther from the Super Bowl are the Carolina Panthers."

Canales, who was hired as head coach of the Panthers this winter as a replacement for Frank Reich, made sure that everyone knows he's keeping receipts ahead of the 2024 campaign:
Hopefully, Canales can help the Panthers turn things around in 2024 with a roster highlighted by quarterback Bryce Young, the No. 1 pick in the 2023 draft.
If the Panthers don't show many signs of improvement under Canales, former offensive coordinator of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, his post on X, formerly known as Twitter, might just end up on Freezing Cold Takes.
