Video: Cowboys' Tony Pollard Learns Commanders Hired Dan Quinn as HC Days After Move
The Dallas Cowboys are still searching for their replacement for former defensive coordinator Dan Quinn after he became head coach of the Washington Commanders, but one player apparently was completely unaware of the changes to Dallas' coaching staff.
During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday, running back Tony Pollard was asked about the departure of Quinn, and he answered hilariously.
"You know what's crazy? I haven't been on social media. ... I just found out right now," Pollard said.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Better late than never for Pollard, as Quinn was hired by the Commanders nearly a week ago.
In fairness to Pollard, he's set to become a free agent this offseason after playing the 2023 campaign on the franchise tag, so perhaps he isn't very concerned with the recent developments around the Cowboys because there's a chance he won't be with the team in 2024.
Still, Pollard gave a vote of confidence to Quinn regarding his prospects in his new position with the Commanders.
"I don't doubt Dan Quinn at all in whatever he's doing, head coaching, defensive coordinator, whatever it is," Pollard said. "He's gonna find a way to get the most out of the guys that he coaches. He does a great job just being relatable to the guys and just being there for them."
