Travis Kelce Has Been 'a Straight Pro' amid Taylor Swift Relationship, Chiefs GM Says
Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce's high-profile relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift has garnered a massive wave of attention, but it hasn't distracted him from his ultimate goal.
As the Chiefs prepare to face the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, general manager Brett Veach appeared on Audacy's 610 Sports Radio and had high praise for the way Kelce handled his rising celebrity status.
"Honestly, after the first week or two, it never gets brought up, it never gets mentioned. The only time that we realize it is when we're looking at our phones during the TV timeout and CBS is zooming in on Taylor, you're reminded that they're together," Veach said. "But Travis is a straight pro and the guys treat him like that."

Swift, who became a 14-time Grammy Award winner this past weekend, has routinely made headlines for attending Kelce's games this season. She was on the field celebrating with him when the Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game to make their second straight Super Bowl appearance.
Still, Veach noted that the relationship between Kelce and Swift hasn't been a distraction in the slightest. The nine-time Pro Bowler doesn't even get ribbed by his teammates for the relationship.
"If you didn't go online, you would have no idea that he's in a relationship with Taylor Swift. Doesn't talk about it, players don't talk about it," Veach said. "You'd think you'd hear the songs at practice and all the guys getting on him, this and that, but there's such a high amount of respect for each other in this locker room."
