76ers Trade Rumors: Buddy Hield, Bojan Bogdanović Targeted Ahead of NBA Deadline
While Joel Embiid will be sidelined for an extended period following knee surgery, the Philadelphia 76ers don't appear to be searching for additional help at the 5 ahead of the trade deadline.
The Sixers are targeting Indiana Pacers guard Buddy Hield and Detroit Pistons guard Bojan Bogdanović, according to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.
Hield has been included in trade rumors dating back to September when The Athletic's Shams Charania reported the sides were working together to find a trade partner after contract extension negotiations stalled.

Charania added at the time that Hield "is open to a trade elsewhere" and that several teams were expected to express interest in the veteran guard.
Hield joined the Pacers in the deal that sent Domantas Sabonis to the Sacramento Kings during the 2021-22 campaign.
He was effective in his first full season in Indiana in 2022-23, averaging 16.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 80 games while shooting 45.8 percent from the floor and 42.5 percent from deep.
The 2023-24 campaign has been a different story.
Hield's usage is down in Rick Carlisle's rotation as he's averaging 25.7 minutes per game compared to 31.0 in 2022-23. As a result, he's averaging 12.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 51 games while shooting 43.9 percent from the floor and 38.2 percent from deep.
The 31-year-old could benefit from a change of scenery, and he'd bring some much-needed guard depth in Philadelphia alongside Tyrese Maxey, De'Anthony Melton and Patrick Beverley.
Bogdanović, who has spent the last two seasons in Detroit, has also been heavily included in trade rumors this winter as the Pistons have struggled to an NBA-worst 6-43 record.
The 34-year-old has been a solid contributor for much of his career, and he's averaging 20.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 28 games this season while shooting 46.8 percent from the floor and 41.5 percent from deep.
Like Hield, Bogdanović would be a great depth option for the Sixers as they aim to build a team that can contend with the likes of the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference.
Either player would also bring some much-needed three-point shooting to the Philadelphia rotation.
The 76ers sit fifth in the Eastern Conference with a 30-19 record.
