Video: NBA Unveils LED Court to Be Used During 2024 All-Star Weekend
The upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend will feature an interesting feature during the lead-up to the 2024 All-Star Game.
The NBA announced that a state-of-the-art full video LED court will be used at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis for multiple events during the weekend.
The All-Star Celebrity Game on Feb. 16 and All-Star Saturday Night on Feb. 17 will take place on the court, bringing a new look to the Skills Competition, Three-Point Contest and Slam Dunk Contest, as well as the NBA vs. WNBA three-point shootout between Stephen Curry and Sabrina Ionescu.
It will be fun to see the All-Star festivities play out on the newly designed court, which will feature visual effects like live replays and other video content, real-time game stats, location-based player tracking animations and interactive games for fans during timeouts.
The weekend will culminate with the All-Star Game on Feb. 18 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. This year's game is back to the traditional East vs. West format, so fans will surely be excited to see the best of the best go against each other.
