NBA Rumors: Blazers, Wizards, Pistons Don't Want to Trade Brogdon, Kuzma, Bogdanović
As Thursday's NBA trade deadline draws nearer, it sounds like there aren't many teams looking to ship away their top players.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Monday's episode of The Woj Pod that even the rebuilding teams don't appear to be in sell mode this week.
"The teams who are really, really bad, who have struggled and are in full rebuilds, Washington, Portland, Detroit, they're not trading off [players you would think would be available in past years]," Wojnarowski said at the 11:48 mark.
Wojnarowski named Blazers point guard Malcolm Brogdon, Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma and Pistons forward Bojan Bogdanović as players who are coveted around the league but unlikely to be traded prior to Thursday's deadline.
While things can change between now and then, it sounds like there won't be as many splash moves this year as there were in previous seasons.
Wojnarowski pointed out that in addition to those three teams not being interested in trading their respective top players, those players are also happy in their current situations despite playing for franchises that won't contend for a playoff spot anytime soon.
It remains to be seen if any of those teams will receive an offer that convinces them to give up a coveted player by Thursday.
