National Signing Day 2024 Tracker: Updates on Notable College Football Commits
The days of the top coaches in college football breathlessly waiting by antiquated fax machines for 25 letters of intent from prospects on a traditional signing day in February are largely over.
Many of the nation's best football prospects sign with their future schools in December's early signing period in today's college football world. It is part of a chaotic stretch of the schedule where teams are preparing for bowl or College Football Playoff games while spending much of their time on recruiting and the transfer portal.
But there is still some drama remaining for this year's traditional signing day, which is Wednesday.
With that in mind, keep it locked here for updates on the top classes and players who will be finalizing their choices during traditional signing day. While many have already verbally committed to schools, those listed here have not yet officially signed and enrolled with the teams of their choice.

Dominick McKinley Likely Heading to LSU
6 of 8
It seems like LSU will win the battle for Dominick McKinley.
While the defensive lineman was previously committed to Texas A&M, he didn't sign in December's early signing period and flipped to the Tigers in January. The decision came after the Aggies fired head coach Jimbo Fisher.
It will be a major victory for LSU when McKinley does sign, as he is a 5-star prospect and the No. 18 overall player in the class, per 247Sports' composite rankings.

Oregon is heading to the Big Ten this season, and it already has a recruiting win over one of the conference's powerhouses.
Wide receiver Gatlin Bair told Hayes Fawcett of On 3 on Saturday that he chose the Ducks over Michigan. Brandon Huffman of 247Sports noted the speedster was choosing between Oregon and the Wolverines after he decommitted from Boise State.
Bair is a 5-star prospect and the No. 27 overall player in the class, per 247Sports' composite rankings.
Noah Carter Likely Heading to Alabama

There was a time when edge-rusher Noah Carter was part of Washington's 2024 class, but that is no longer the case.
After Nick Saban retired, the Crimson Tide hired Washington's Kalen DeBoer to take over as head coach. Carter decided to follow the coach into SEC country and is joining Alabama.
He is a 4-star prospect and the No. 82 overall player in the 2024 class, per 247Sports' composite rankings.
