Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, who announced his retirement from the NFL after the 2022 season and is slated to enter the Fox broadcast booth during the 2024 campaign, was paired up with longtime friend and New England Patriots fan Keegan Bradley.

After finishing the first round six-under, the Brady/Bradley pairing tied for 20th at 12 under par through two rounds. The duo finished the second round six-under.

Brady also shared a special moment with Bradley's six-year-old son during the second round.

Bradley's son told Brady that the Patriots lost the game he attended during the 2023 season, and Bradley proceeded to tell his son that New England "never lost" when Brady was the quarterback.

"They lost a couple times, but not that often," Brady replied.

Brady won six of his seven Super Bowls with the Patriots before joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after the 2019 season. In his 20 years in New England, 19 of which he was the starting quarterback, he never had a losing season.

As for Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his partner Keith Mitchell, they dominated the second round after finishing Round 1 tied for 51st. The duo finished Round 2 11-under to tie for sixth at 14-under.

It appears Brady might owe Allen a signed jersey, too, after the Bills quarterback beat his former AFC East rival on the links. In a video posted by the PGA Tour, Allen can be heard saying to Brady, "You know what I want? Can I... What I want is a signed jersey."

This is the first time Allen has ever beaten Brady in anything, and he said on the NBC Sports broadcast after wrapping up the second round that doing so felt "pretty good."

Allen and Brady went head-to-head four times in the NFL, and Brady won each matchup.

While the celebrities have wrapped up play, the pros will continue competing at Pebble Beach on Saturday in Round 3.

Belgian, Thomas Detry, Swede Ludvig Åberg and American Scottie Scheffler are tied for first place entering this weekend's action at 11-under through two rounds.

Åberg and Scheffler were two of the best performers on Friday, finishing seven-under and eight-under for the round, respectively.
