Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Suns Applauded by NBA Fans in Win Over Jimmy Butler, Heat
On the second night of a back-to-back, the Phoenix Suns handled the Miami Heat, 118-105, on the road Monday night.
The win marked the Suns' eighth victory in their last 10 games and got them back in the win column after dropping Sunday night's contest to the Orlando Magic.
The Suns cruised through the first three quarters, leading by 26 heading into the fourth quarter, but the Heat sparked a big run late in the game and made things more interesting. Luckily for Phoenix, Miami didn't have enough time to mount the comeback.
Phoenix's Big 3 led the way on Monday, as Devin Booker had 22, Kevin Durant put up 20 and Bradley Beal added 19. Eric Gordon also had 23 points off the bench.
With the win, the Suns improved to 27-20 on the year, sitting in sixth place in the Western Conference just behind the Sacramento Kings, who are half a game ahead.
