John Harbaugh Reveals Advice to Lamar Jackson After Ravens' Loss to Mahomes, Chiefs

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh told quarterback Lamar Jackson to "stand up tall" in the wake of the team's 17-10 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC title game.

"He's had a great season," Harbaugh told reporters. "His performance today was all heart. He fought. He went out there and gave it everything he had, so I don't think that's anything that I'd be disappointed in."

Jackson picked a bad time to have one of his worst outings this year. He finished 20-of-37 for 272 yards, one touchdown and one interception, and he ran for 54 yards on eight carries.

That interception was the final dagger into Baltimore's comeback hopes in the fourth quarter.

Zay Flowers' fumble on the goal line was arguably the biggest play of the game, but Jackson's interception was the moment when you knew it was over for the AFC's top seed.

Sunday's game doesn't erase everything Jackson and the Ravens accomplished. But the two-time All-Pro will likely be thinking about his performance for some time with his team coming so close to the Super Bowl and falling short.
