San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey is selling his house in North Carolina for $12.5 million, according to Libertina Brandt of the Wall Street Journal.

After spending five-plus seasons with the Carolina Panthers to begin his professional career, McCaffrey was traded to the 49ers in Oct. 2022.
"It was such a difficult decision to have to sell this house, but because I'm in the Bay now, I am never there," McCaffrey explained, per Brandt. "It pains me letting them go, but that's life I guess."
However, it's safe to say that the 27-year-old is happy in his new city and overjoyed to be with his new team. The 49ers are currently gearing up to face off against the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship game, as McCaffrey has been one of the driving forces behind San Francisco's immensely successful season.
In 16 games, the former first-round pick racked up a league-leading 1,459 yards on the ground. He added 564 more yards as a receiver, while his 21 total touchdowns tied with Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert for the highest mark in the NFL.
