Ahead of their showdown in Sunday's AFC Championship Game, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes had nothing but good things to say about Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

While speaking on The Drive on Audacy's 610 Sports Radio, Mahomes praised Jackson for his unmatched versatility.

"It's not just the running. But I mean, the being able to throw in different arm slots, to be accurate, throw it downfield," Mahomes said at the 10:20 mark. "He can do it all."

Mahomes, who is the reigning NFL MVP, went on to endorse Jackson to join him as a two-time winner of the award.

"That's why he's gonna...gonna be winning his second MVP probably. I think that just speaks to the type of player he is. He continues to get better and better," Mahomes said. "That's what we're all trying to do in this league."

Jackson led the Ravens to the best record in the league this season at 13-4. Baltimore cruised past the Houston Texans in the AFC Divisional Round with a 34-10 victory as Jackson threw two touchdowns and ran for two more scores.

On the other hand, Mahomes and the Chiefs had a tough battle with the Buffalo Bills that ended in a 27-24 win. It was Mahomes' first true road playoff victory, and he said he relishes the opportunity to try to earn another one in Baltimore.

"It'll be a great challenge for us, and we're excited to go up there to their place and see what we can do," he said.

The last time the Chiefs and Ravens met was in Week 2 of the 2021 season, with Baltimore taking home a 36-35 win. Mahomes and Jackson are two of the best quarterbacks of their generation, so Sunday's game is sure to be an entertaining matchup.
