This includes Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris, per Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report and ESPN's Adam Schefter, respectively.

However, Seattle's front office is prepared to interview candidates on both sides of the ball. They've reportedly requested one with Miami Dolphins offensive coordinator Frank Smith after the team averaged a league-leading 401.3 yards per game in the regular season. (via Pelissero). The Seahawks have also requested to meet with New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka, per Schefter.
On Jan. 10, it was announced that Super Bowl-winning head coach Pete Carroll would no longer remain in the role after the Seahawks narrowly missed the playoffs in 2023.
Carroll will remain with the organization in an advisory role, though.
The team started the year strong, sitting at 6-3 through Week 10's action. However, a four-game losing streak left the Seahawks in a hole that they were unable to climb out of before the postseason began.
While Seattle's offensive productivity fluctuated throughout the season, its defense was the main culprit behind the group's mid-season struggles. The Seahawks allowed 371.4 yards per game in 2023, the third-worst mark in the NFL. They also gave up 23.6 points each week, representing the eighth-worst scoring defense in the league.
It seems that the front office is mainly interested in hiring a new head coach that can help fix the defense, as both Quinn and Morris helped oversee two units that ranked within the five best scoring defenses in the regular season. Quinn also has ties to the organization, serving as Seattle's defensive line coach from 2009-10 as well as the team's defensive coordinator during the Super Bowl-winning season in 2013.
Although Ejiro's defense struggled throughout the Panthers' dismal 2-15 campaign, he was the defensive coordinator the Denver Broncos in 2022. That season, the Broncos allowed the seventh-fewest total yards in the NFL.
