With the Texans trailing by four points early in the second quarter, the 23-year-old hauled in a short pass from quarterback C.J. Stroud. Jordan eluded multiple Browns defenders on his way to the end zone, showcasing his speed along the sidelines.
Entering Saturday, the longest reception of his career was just 27 yards. Jordan reached a top speed of 20.03 miles per hour during the play, representing the third-fastest speed by a tight end as a ball carrier this season (via NFL Next Gen Stats).
"I mean, whenever you make a big play, the whole team's gonna be just electric," Jordan told reporters after the game, per Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2. "The energy's gonna be unmatched, our energy today was unbelievable."
His touchdown helped shift the momentum of the game, as Houston scored 28 unanswered points throughout the rest of the contest. The Texans' defense stepped up in the second half, returning two of Joe Flacco's interceptions for touchdowns in the third quarter.
After recording 60 yards in his final three appearances during the regular season, Jordan eclipsed that total with just one catch on Saturday.
