Cooper Flagg Shines with 11 in Dominant 1st Half Performance at 2024 Hoophall Classic

Duke commit Cooper Flagg, the high school class of 2024's top men's basketball prospect, helped guide No. 1 Monteverde Academy (Florida) to a 91-58 win over Brewster Academy (New Hampshire) on Saturday at the Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Massachusetts.

The 6'9" forward posted 11 points (all in the first half) on 4-of-8 shooting, five rebounds and two blocks in 20 minutes. He didn't play much of the second half with Monteverde jumping out to a 46-22 halftime lead and never looking back.

Flagg began the Hoophall Classic with 25 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, five blocks and two steals against Oak Hill Academy (Virginia) on Friday.

Monteverde Academy, which is now 18-0, will finish its Hoophall Classic run with a matchup against Prolific Prep (California) on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. ET. ESPN2 will carry the game.
