Eagles' A.J. Brown Wipes Social Media Accounts Ahead of Buccaneers Playoff Game
A.J. Brown is blocking out all of the noise before the start of the 2024 NFL playoffs.
The Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver deleted his X account, formerly known as Twitter, and also wiped his Instagram page of any team-related content:
While this would typically be cause for concern, it's possible that Brown is just locking in for the playoffs as the Eagles aim to rebound from a disastrous end to the regular season.
The Eagles were in contention for the NFC East title for much of the 2023 campaign but they ruined their chances to win the division by losing five of their last six games, including losses to non-playoff teams in the Arizona Cardinals, New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks.
Philadelphia finished the season 11-6 and will now be on the road at Raymond James Stadium on Monday to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in an NFC Wild Card Round matchup.
Brown figures to play a major role in that game as he was quarterback Jalen Hurts' top target during the regular season, catching 106 passes for 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns in 17 games.
