The tears have only just started falling from New England Patriots' fans celebrating the end of Bill Belichick's 24-year run with the franchise, but that isn't stopping the speculation about where the legendary head coach is going to end up.

Per DraftKings Sportsbook, the Atlanta Falcons are +150 favorites (bet $100 to win $150) to hire Belichick their next head coach.

Interestingly, not coaching has better odds than either the Los Angeles Chargers or Washington Commanders.

Belichick and Patriots owner Robert Kraft announced a mutual parting of ways on Thursday. The decision came after New England wrapped up its worst season under Belichick with a 4-13 record and missed the playoffs for the third time in four years since Tom Brady left.

Earlier in the day, ESPN's Dan Graziano cited the Falcons and Washington Commanders as the "most likely" landing spots for Belichick.

The Falcons have a promising young offensive nucleus, but not an obvious solution at quarterback. The Chargers have Justin Herbert, but a roster and cap situation around him that's a mess.

Washington has a talented group of offensive skill players and owns the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft to potentially add a quarterback.

One thing that will likely be essential for Belichick in his next gig is the opportunity to win games right away. He has 333 career wins between the regular season and playoffs, leaving him 15 away from passing Don Shula for the most in NFL history.
