Ahead of the start of the NFL playoffs, the Dallas Cowboys have received a ringing endorsement from a former champion.

During an appearance on Up & Adams, Rob Gronkowski declared the Cowboys to be his pick to win the Super Bowl this year:

Gronkowski pointed to the additions of wide receiver Brandin Cooks and cornerback Stephon Gilmore, who were his teammates with the New England Patriots, as reasons for his confidence in Dallas' chances to win it all.

The Cowboys will begin their quest for a Super Bowl title with an NFC Wild Card matchup on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Dallas hasn't made it past the divisional round since their last Super Bowl win in 1995.

Luckily for the Cowboys, they won the NFC East to earn the second seed in the conference, so they will not have to face the San Francisco 49ers until the NFC championship. The 49ers have eliminated the Cowboys from the playoffs in each of the last two years.
