
Alabama RB Jase McClellan Enters 2024 NFL Draft amid Roydell Williams Transfer Buzz
Alabama running back Jase McClellan announced on Instagram Tuesday that he will be entering the 2024 NFL draft.
McClellan led the SEC champions with 890 rushing yards. He was second on the team with eight rushing touchdowns. The senior also caught 15 passes for 137 yards.
The former Aledo (Texas) High School star ultimately helped Alabama make the College Football Playoff as a No. 4 seed. The Crimson Tide fell 27-20 in overtime to Michigan, the eventual national champion.

McClellan played at Alabama for four seasons, finishing his career with 2,390 total yards and 24 touchdowns. He rushed for 5.6 yards per carry.
The McClellan news comes after Roydell Williams, Alabama's second-leading rusher, entered the NCAA transfer portal as a grad transfer last Friday.
Alabama will return Jam Miller (41 carries, 201 yards) and Justice Haynes (25 carries, 168 yards). The Crimson Tide also have two 4-star running back recruits in the 2024 class in Daniel Hill and Kevin Riley.
