NBA Fans Criticize Luka Dončić's Mavericks in Loss to Grizzlies with Ja Morant Out

The Dallas Mavericks had the opportunity to extend their win streak to four straight games on Tuesday, but they put forth a lackluster effort against a depleted Memphis Grizzlies team and halted their momentum.

The Mavs suffered a 120-103 loss to the Grizzlies, disappointing fans in attendance at American Airlines Center. To make matters worse, the Grizzlies were playing without their two best players in Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr., who both sat out with injuries.

Despite missing its stars, Memphis played like a well-oiled machine, shooting 48.4 from the field and 37.8 from three-point range. The team led by as many as 22 points and also dominated the glass, pulling down 18 offensive rebounds and outrebounding Dallas 54-33.

The Mavs wasted a strong night from their star duo, as Kyrie Irving poured in 33 points and Luka Doncic added 31 points. Desmond Bane led the way for the Grizzlies with 32 points and nine rebounds.

Fans on social media didn't hold back their criticism of the Mavs after their subpar showing on Tuesday night:

The Mavs (22-16) will look to bounce back on Thursday when they host the New York Knicks (22-15), who are riding a five-game win streak.
