Kiper: Rome Odunze, Malik Nabers Could Join Marvin Harrison Jr. in NFL Draft Top 10

Ohio State standout Marvin Harrison Jr. is a consensus top-five pick in the 2024 NFL draft, but it appears a couple more wide receivers could join him in the top 10.

ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. suggested Tuesday that Washington's Rome Odunze and LSU's Malik Nabers could be selected within the top 10 and perhaps the top eight.

"I believe it's Marvin Harrison Jr. then Rome Odunze—Malik Nabers, LSU, right in there—but we have three wide receivers that are going to go very high," Kiper said (30:25 mark). "Marvin Harrison Jr. top five. Rome Odunze and Malik Nabers probably top six, seven, eight. So, by the eighth, ninth pick, three wide receivers I think will be off the board."

Harrison has long been considered the top wide receiver in the 2024 draft class, and Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department has him listed as the top overall prospect available this spring.

The 21-year-old recorded back-to-back 1,000-plus yard receiving seasons with the Buckeyes and is coming off a 2023 campaign in which he caught 67 passes for 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns in 12 games, in addition to rushing for 26 yards and one score.

B/R NFL Scout Derrik Klassen wrote that Harrison "is a slam-dunk prospect."

"He is a twitched-up athlete with polished route-running ability and elite ball skills. It's so easy to see how his game translates right away," Klassen wrote. "Harrison would be an instant No. 1 WR for most offenses."

B/R's NFL Scouting Department ranks Odunze as the No. 3 wide receiver available in the 2024 draft class and the No. 9 prospect overall.

Odunze also recorded back-to-back 1,000-plus yard receiving seasons and is coming off a brilliant 2023 campaign in which he helped lead the Huskies to the national championship game alongside quarterback Michael Penix Jr.

The 21-year-old caught 92 passes for 1,640 yards and 13 touchdowns in 15 games and also rushed for 37 yards and one score.

"Odunze is a quarterback's best friend. He's a reliable route-runner with good size and an accuracy-erasing catch radius," Klassen wrote of the Washington product. "Odunze can be a classic X receiver who moonlights as a slot receiver from time to time thanks to his awareness and ability to play in traffic."

B/R's NFL Scouting Department actually ranks Nabers above Odunze as the No. 2 receiver available and the No. 7 prospect overall.

Like Harrison and Odunze, Nabers posted back-to-back 1,000-plus yard receiving seasons and is coming off a 2023 season that saw him catch 89 passes for 1,569 yards and 14 touchdowns in 13 games.

"Overall, it's easy to see how Nabers could make an instant impact in the NFL. His combination of speed, quickness and yards-after-the-catch skills will translate into explosive plays right away," Klassen wrote. "Nabers can be a twitchy, field-stretching Z from day one with the potential to grow into a more well-rounded player."
