
Bronny James Scores 2 Points as USC Beats Stanford for 2nd Straight Win
USC freshman guard Bronny James finished with two points, two steals, two rebounds and an assist en route to the Trojans' 93-79 home win over Stanford in Pac-12 play on Saturday.
James, the eldest son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, entered this matchup averaging 7.5 points on 50.0 percent shooting, 2.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.2 steals in 16.8 minutes per game.
He's found his offensive groove of late, most notably scoring a career-high 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting on Dec. 30 in an 86-70 loss to Oregon State. James followed that up with 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting in an 82-74 win over Cal on Jan. 3.

Saturday was an off-night offensively for James, who missed his four shots (three from three-point range). He did make two free throws after making a steal and getting fouled on an ensuing shot attempt to put USC up 59-51.
USC is now 8-7 overall and 2-2 in Pac-12 play after two straight wins. The Trojans' next game will be Wednesday at home versus Washington State.
